   Our company has a top-class R&D team, which contains ten members including 1 with a Doctor’s degree, 5 with Bachelor’s degree, 2 with intermediate professional title and 2 with more than 10 years’ experience in stevia or related fields. It was initially structured to be multi-disciplinary and complementary with legitimate professionals. Now it has high independent research and development capacity.

 Ever since the found of our R&D center, it has established lots of achievements and honors, especially in the field of production technology and new products development, the team has obtained remarkable achievements and won many awards and certificates of honor. Our R&D center staff participated in more than 10 professional certifications, such as the GMP certification, the certification of stevia production license in Qufu Natural Engineering, the ISO-9000 certification, etc. They also achieved an excellent performance in the evaluation within our company. 
The profile of R&D Director:
 Dr. Xinfeng Zhao, male, was born in August 1976 in Qufu, Shandong province. He obtained his Doctor’s degree in Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 2003.
 In 2003, Dr. Zhao began to work in Lu'nan Pharmaceutical Group CO., LTD. His main tasks there include chemical medicine related new chemical product development, quality control, and the technical support to FDA certification. He participated in research and development for about 20 products; he drafted and revised more than ten product quality standards and completed two chemical medicine technical requirements of the FDA certification and evaluation. As a result, "the research and development of salmeterol" won the second prize of municipal scientific and technological progress and "the raw materials and preparations of finasteride" won the second prize of municipal technological inventions.
 In 2008, Dr. Zhao changed to work in Dalian Institute of Chemical & Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He worked in the national chromatographic research center, the high resolution and separation analysis and Metabonomics  research center, for his postdoctoral research. His mainly research was in pharmacodynamics evaluation of the drug treating diabetes and cardiovascular disease, Metabonomics , and quality controlling methods. He participated in a Sino-Dutch joint project held by China Ministry of Science and Technology—"Metabonomics  for drug quality control methodology research". He participated constructing various drugs quality detection method including FPLC - ESI - IT - TOF - MS, and establishing comprehensive methods of drug quality control and evaluation based on Metabonomics  and both internal and external tests. Over the same period of time, he also acted as the office director of Traditional Chinese Pharmacology and its laboratory in Dalian University. During this job, he mainly engaged in traditional Chinese medicine, chemicals research and development, theory and experiment teaching for graduate and undergraduate students. The main courses he gave speeches including "New Medicine Development Technology and Regulations" for graduate students, and “Pharmaceutical Analysis” and “Traditional Chinese Pharmacy Analysis” for undergraduate students.
 He directed and participated in 5 programs funded by National Natural Science Fund—one for the National Pharmacopoeia Committee, one for Liaoning Education Department, one for the Technology Bureau in Shenyang, and one for the Technology Bureau of Dalian. As the first author, he published more than 20 theses on core journals from both home and abroad including 3 articles recorded by SCI.
